A new centre record of 8,000gns was set at Hexham’s sale of pedigree bulls for the pre-sale show champion.

Once again, Dewi Jenkins, Talybont, topped the sale of working sheep dogs at Skipton, when selling his three-year-old black and white bitch, Llwynsarn Non for 14,000gns.

Stonehills Rockstar from the Riby family’s East Yorkshire-based herd took the top call of 12,000gns at the Beef Shorthorn Society’s sale at Carlisle.
