Matt Styles is 25 and lives and works on a 1600 acre arable farm in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Along with his wife Floss, he runs a flock of 70 sheep.
Lucy Hinch, 20, from Rutland, comes from an arable farm along with 216,000 free range layers. She is currently studying an agricultural degree at Harper Adams University.
Edward Dungait, 27, from Morpeth, Northumberland, is an arable farmer and owns 263 hectares (650 acres) of land under Farm Business Tenancy and the Agricultural Holdings Act in partnership with his parents. He is also the current National Federation of Young ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã’ Clubs vice-chairman of council.
Ellie Pacey, 19, is a fan of tractor pulling, the world’s most powerful motorsport, and a Miss England Midland’s semi-finalist, from Spratton, Northamptonshire.
James Macleod, 24, is from Dilwyn, Herefordshire, and has recently been involved in the NFU’s Student and Young Ambassador programme, which provides 10 enthusiastic young farmers with an insight into the industry.
Nathan Rogers, 26, from Hayscastle, Pembrokeshire, is club chairman of Fishguard YFC and manages a herd of 140 British Friesian and Shorthorn cross cows.
Lizzie Bradley, 23, from Lanchester, Co Durham, is a Harper Adams graduate and has worked at some of the biggest dairy shows in the world.
Mure Grant, 20, is a sheep farmer’s son from Thurso, Caithness, and recently competed in Scotland’s young handlers section at the international sheepdog trials.
Laura Wilson, 23, from Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, is the daughter of a beef farmer and recently joined KW Feeds as assistant blends manager.
Ben Lewis, 25, works with his parents on their mixed family farm in Dilwyn, Herefordshire, which is home to the Haven herd of pedigree Hereford cattle.
