Farming community rallies to support fundraising farmer after accident at mart

Emyr Wigley, a Welsh farmer who has been raising money in memory of his wife, Evelyn, after she passed away from ovarian cancer, has been involved in an accident.

Last Thursday, Mr Wigley was involved in an accident involving cattle at Carlisle livestock market. However, he returned home on Saturday and is recovering well.

Due to this, Mr Wigley is planning to disperse the Old Stackyard Blues herd of pedigree British Blue cattle in March. More details on the sale will be released in due course.

The farming community are rallying their support and have taken to helping him continue raising money for his campaign.

Mr Wigleys niece Laura Pritchard says: Over the weekend we have once again been overwhelmed by the support and kindness shown by the farming community.
