Reporting to : Shift Manager
Our clients customers specialise in supplying larger commercial equestrian and agricultural products to their customer across the region. Over recent years they have invested in modern production systems focusing on producing the best quality products, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The environment is heavily industrialised, can be dirty, agricultural and fast moving.
Reporting to Shift Managers you will need to be flexible, hardworking as our client is offering a good 3 months training in their operation and processes.
They are currently looking for a Counterbalance Operative/Yardman to join their team at their Site in Tilbrook near Kimbolton.
Duties to include :
Loading and unloading of Lorries and other HGVs as required
Yard maintenance ensuring all is clean and organized at all times
Use of bailing machines to compact waste plastic products
Wrapping of pallets ready for despatch
General Sweeping and cleaning of work areas
Repairing of Pallets when necessary
Stock taking and inventory maintenance
Reworks of returned damaged or waste products
Completion of risk assessment as required (training provided)
Ideal candidate -
Willing to be flexible and complete varied tasks
Willing to work outdoors
Safety conscious
Friendly and personable due to company being a family business
Willing to work shifts
Willingness to muck in and get the job done
Hold a full counterbalance licence
Working hours - Rotating shifts 06.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00 and 22.00-06.00
