Police bumped into the most unlikely of people when investigating incidents of livestock worrying and hare coursing in Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce said they had been called to a sheep worrying near Southleigh in Witney on Thursday (September 7) and hare coursing near Shrivenham with a dron used to search areas of land.

During their sheep worrying patrols, officers bumped into none other than Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper.

Police said Mr Cooper had told them he was ‘grateful' for making enquiries on the matter and took a photograph with PC Alasdair Uren of Thames Valley Police.

Having rose to fame on Jeremy Clarkson's farming series on Amazon Prime, the farming contractor has confirmed he will be embarking on a tour next year to discuss his rise to celebrity stardom and the challenges farmers face.

Police reminded owners they should place their dogs on a lead when near livestock.
