An arable farm in Lincolnshire has demonstrated the strength and optimism of British farmers despite facing the harsh realities from Storm Babet.

A.H. Worth farm - a 6,500 acre vegetable farm based in Spalding - had posted images on social media of its waterlogged crop fields after ‘severe flooding' from Storm Babet.

The Lincolnshire farm said heavy rainfall on Friday (October 20) and winds may have halted its harvest, but it would not ‘dampen its spirits'.

A.H. Worth said it was an insight into the hard work of British farmers and was testament to their 'resilience and endurance' to overcome adversity and keep moving forward.
