A series celebrating the intricacies of farm life has revealed a release date ahead of its return to screens.

Cannon Hall farmers Rob, Dave and Roger Nicholson have announced their return to television screens with a trip down memory lane on Channel 5.

The British Farming Award winners will be joined alongside Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson to pick some of their favourite moments of filming over the last four years.

Channel 5's Cannon Hall: A Yorkshire Farm - produced by Daisybeck Studies - has been confirmed to air on February 29 at 7pm.

The ten episode series will feature segments from the Springtime and Winter on the Farm.

In a sneak peak to the opening episode, springtime sees the countryside 'awaken from its winter slumber' as new life bursts into fields and barns.

In Lincolnshire, one of Britain's youngest farmers, eight-year-old Joe faces up to his first ever lambing season and is helped through it all by South Yorkshire farmers Rob and Dave Nicholson from Barnsley.

With plenty to keep viewers entertained, Rob said it was a privilege to be part of the programme.

"We cannot be more grateful," he added.

"This is such an honour for us and we absolutely know it would not have happened without the love and support shown to us on social media for all the farm fans who really shout loud about our family farm to help us get heard."

You can catch Cannon Hall: A Yorkshire Farm every Thursday at 7pm from February 29.
