With some farms across the country having already started lambing, Welsh farming social media mogul Gareth Wyn Jones has taken to X to ask dog walkers to please consider farmers this season and keep their dogs on a lead.
In the video he said 'this is our office' and as much as farmers want all walkers to enjoy the countryside, he urged them to 'be vigilant' and to 'please, please, please' keep your dog under control.

He reminded people of the effects dog attacks have on farmers - anything from a curious dog simply spooking sheep can cause huge damage.

He said: "Even if you are just walking where there are sheep and lambs, the dog can even just disturb, especially a young ewe. It does not have to chase it, it just needs to be nosey and dogs are inquisitive.
"It might then leave its lamb and never come back to it."
