The joint petition, which was started by sheep farmer and former teacher Olivia Shave, is urging the Government to embed food, farming and sustainability onto the national curriculum.
The petition has now gained over 11,700 signatures meaning it will get a response from Government.
The goal, however, is 100,000. At this point, the petition will get debated in Parliament.
Olivia says: "As a country facing a climate and food systems crisis, we can't afford to leave these topics out of our children's education.
"This campaign is about giving every student the knowledge and tools to shape a better future."

Online editor Emily Ashworth says: "This petition is not just about securing farming's future workforce, this is about the health of the country, the maintenance of this country's iconic landscape and most importantly, food security.
"Without these conversations going on in educational settings, the understanding around food and how it's produced will never be there.
